Again this statement Citi has transferred more Flight Points to ThankYou than would be justified by my spending. Spent ~$6,000, but they transferred all of my Flight Points ~13,000. I do have more Flight Points in the pipeline for tickets purchased before the feature ended.
I have also used my $250 airline fee for 2015. They issued 250 bonus points to offset the effect of the credit on the rewards calculation.
I had a similar experience. They transferred flight points on my account to match my total earning, not my total spend.
Mine looks like this:
3x on airfare/hotels: 1,080
2x on dining: 0
1x on other: 2,066
Additional bonus: 218 (flight credit offset)
Total Earned: 3,364
Flight Points transferred to TY Member Account: 3,146
Which, of course, is the 3,364 - 218. But this is essentially giving me 6x/$ on airfare/hotels as long as I have a flight point balance. Plus the 1.6x on US/AA, makes it 9.6%. Juicy.
edit: my FP balance is now <1K, but I should have about another 10K coming from Christmas flights booked in September. Hopefully those show up next statement.
