I never received an updated e-ticket from SAS (as I have been used to with longhaul OT upgrades) and thus don't know what the new booking class was.
I did not pay attention to how full either flight was and can not say how it might have affected my success with the upgrade.
Not sure where I picked up the possibility of intra-european OT but I think it was in a thread in this forum...?
Either way, on 27NOV I received a targeted email from SAS, that it would be possible to "get a smooth journey to Hamburg" (in SAS Plus) for a trip on 10DEC.
I did not pick up on that one and I doubt that I will in the future - I was just curious and no way am I paying to boost a trip that is 30 minutes airborne and now only provides the same amount of points that I used to get on this route.
