Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?

Always delighted.

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?

Booked deluxe, BOGOF

How are the rooms?

Had a nice oversized suite upgrade; thank you. Although this one has only 1 minibar, not 2 for some reason.

How is the exec. lounge?

Sadly, none. The one sore point here.

Did you receive a welcome gift?

Yes, bottle of wine (Stone Cellars Cab) and the usual other stuff.

How was the minibar?

Still good. They used to have a local craft beer (I think Dominion) and unfortunately no longer; just crap beers now (Amstel, Heineken).

What was good and what was bad?

-Good
The Grande Dame. Beautifully bedecked for Christmas season, every evening with musical entertainment.
The Round Robin Bar is one of the world's best.

-Bad
They had some sort of protest going on mustering in front of the hotel, so one had to elbow through a bunch of rabble.
No Club Lounge.
Parking is ridiculously expensive at the hotel, but ditto around the hotel. Try using ParkingPanda.com - you'll find parking about 7 blocks away (E and 8th or thereabouts) for about half the price as the parking garages locally, and it's a cool app.

Value for $ or Priority Club Points?
Given that it was a weekend, the price was reasonable. Taxes of course were unreasonable, but that's the racket there.

Would you return?
Of course. Always.
