Unlike Amex, I've had success with using the same RSVP code from previously targeted offers that weren't targeted at me.
(In fact, I suspect that's the point behind the wiki at the top.)
Once I get confirmation from someone of what the RSVP code is this time, I'll call up and try to get the same offer.
