Tried to search this but I must be doing something wrong because I am sure it was answered. In Aug 2015 my United MP explorer card will be 2 years old. From what I read I will be able to get an other bonus miles then.(if the plan is still active.)

How do I go about getting the bonus miles a second time?

Do I cancel my card in August and re-apply in September.

If I do this do I lose my miles that I have earned so far?

Plus answers to any Question I am not thinking of will be appreciated.
