Are you sure MBNA doesnt only care about the date it posts ? How will MBNA know what the transaction date is for a transaction at a bank they dont own. I think its too late, however you can keep your transaction receipt from your bank and argue with MBNA later on, faxing it in hoping for a YMMV $25 credit.
