Why did you even do the Amex Offer for the Serve account knowing that you wanted to close the Serve account? You have to make sure your balance is at zero anyways before closing your Serve account. Also its best that you don't have any pending Serve BPs going on but if so wait until it has cleared before closing your account.
trying to maximize on as many offers lol. I then realized I need the perm card delivered by latest next weekend and some have reported the permanent card taking a week to get delivered. I will wait until everything is cleared and and zero out the account before closing. thanks.
