I recently (five months ago) applied for NEXUS, and received a notification (via email) that I was denied by the CBSA, with a letter to follow. Twenty days later I received my letter, which said I was denied because I had not been living continuously in Canada or the United States for three years (this is correct). However I had read that the three year residency requirement had been lifted (as shown
here). I was told I had 30 days of the notification to appeal the denial (in writing) to CBSA. I did so, mailing a letter with the explanation, and a copy of the CBSA website explaining that the requirement had been lifted in 2012.
Has anyone else (recently) had this issue of denial because of non-residence for three years?
