That's why people have been asked to specify Visa/MC. Us bank cards are all Visas and have posted as CAs, where as Citi issues both but only the Visa posted as CA. Barclays Arrivals are all MCs - no CAs. Would be interesting to test BofA - their Visas posted with CAs but given that the FIA MC is reported to post as a purchase just a few posts ago, I would expect BofA MCs to do the same.
