Not in the least bit exciting, but possibly part of an answer... You can often get IAH-DFW-OKC for a little over $300 each way in F -- not bad for 120 TPs. AUS-DFW-OKC can be had for a similar fare.
Positioning flights will be more expensive but can still come out below $3.50 per TP -- choose the right days and flights and you can get a DFW-IAH return for $400 in F.
