Your proposal requires a departure from LBA 2 hours before the Aer Lingus ticket - so the Aer Lingus ticket is most certainly faster -
by 2 hours!!!
Plus, as you well know, Ryanair does not sell connecting tickets, or forward luggage onto other flights - even on their own services. So you need to start off 2 hours earlier, pay more (buy separate LBA-DUB and DUB-USA tickets, when the LBA-USA ticket would be not that much more than the DUB-USA ticket), and
assume all the risk of not being able to check-in on time AND clear customs and immigration for the USA flight if there are any delays to the Ryanair flight.
