Certainly looks interesting and innovative - but I too am confused as to whether or not the seat has any ability to recline, and how exactly the backrest would look like in real life (as opposed to patent schematics). Sitting straight up for 12 hours solid doesn't sound very nice, regardless of the ability to spread out like on a couch.
