The car may have originally been a National rental in NY. Come time for registration renewal the car was higher milage and physically located CT so Enterprise took it over. I'm not sure if there are any franchise National locations in NY, but if so that could have been a factor. The G37 was one of my goto for full-size elite rentals with National. It has since been replaced with the Q50. I haven't seen a G37 on a National lot for maybe a year now.
hmm- that does make a lot of sense too. Not a huge percentage of people put 28k miles on their car every year let alone trade it in yearly... And I've never gotten a dealer loaner car (Acura & Lexus) with more than 15k. I would assume that a "2" owner car will be worth less than a "1" owner car but I guess that the value difference is negligible in the real world.
