actually it's good for you that you got FRed in the first month. Same thing happened to me. I had also done around 5k. After the FR, I've not had a beep from amex as I've slowly ramped up to a nice volume. I get the occasional fraud alert and I clear it from the mobile app and back to earning cash back.
