Sorry about that -- I thought MLB had completely standardized security policies, but I guess not. Looking at the equivalent pages for a few other MLB stadiums, they either don't have laptops listed as something you can't bring in, or they specifically mention that you can bring in laptops (AT&T Park for the latter, and Citi Field is included in the former -- maybe switch your allegiance to the Mets?).
Well that's frustrating. Sadly, the Yankees are the only game in town that day so we're back to square one
