I've never ever been to the hotel which charges handling fee. Got crades of stuff delivered to various hotels when I was on a job. Never ever I was charged anything. Handling is free for them. UPS or any other handler delivers your package to the hotel and then they call you from the front desk. Where is the handling fee? Do they charge you if you call front desk for more towels or to order wake up call?
That hotel is cheep. Period.
