Noisy Hotel Neighbors and Package Fee

While staying a Hyatt Regency resort location, I called the front desk at 1:25 a.m. regarding a noise issue with partying neighbors. The receptionist apologized, offered to send security to the offending room, and informed me I had a package for pick-up and would be assessed a $6 processing fee for the package.

Question 1: on face value (without considering other facts below), would it be reasonable to request a courtesy credit for the inconvenience?

Question 2: does anyone else find it inappropriate to add that fee in context of the call, given that my sleep was worth much more than $6 to me? I know they are two separate issues, but I would certainly waive the fee, rather than telling a guest who is the victim of inconsiderate neighbors, "by the way, you owe us $6."

I realize I can be a pickier customer than most, so I'd like a reality check from a broader group before I check out in two days.

Additional Info:
- Before calling the front desk, I got dressed, walked to the offending room, and politely asked the person who answered the door to keep it down. He responded that he would but didn't do much to improve the situation for about 30 minutes. I then called the front desk and let then know I had already spoken with the other in person.

- I am a Hyatt Gold Passport Diamond member with 64 nights year-to-date at Hyatt properties.

- I have spent over 25 nights this year at this same property.

- The package the hotel handled for me was the smallest package amazon uses containing only a single CF card I ordered for my camera versus, say, a set of golf clubs.

Question 3: given totality of the above (including the fact I was calling because of a noise issue), was it even appropriate to inform me of the $6 package fee when I called?
