Looking for somewhere to go in November
Looking for a 4 night beach break in November.
Criteria:
1 - Easy trip from NYC (nonstop, or maybe 1 stop if the trip to hotel is easy).
2 - Decent weather (ie nowhere where the rainy season is in full force).
3 - No chikungunya
4 - Suite (have a baby, so need a closed-door bedroom).
5 - $1000 or so a night.
6 - Sandy beach with calm water.
Looking at Rosewood Mayakoba. A bit wary of getting around the lagoon with a baby. Otherwise seems like a decent choice. Any other ideas? Seems like my main options are Mexico, Jamaica, ABC islands, and Florida. Definitely want a smaller, more private hotel. Biras Creek has been our favorite trip so far, but no children there, and a long trip. We enjoyed Seven Stars in Turks with the baby, but it felt a bit large and impersonal to us, though the room was fantastic.
