I can tell you the worst and best thing someone ever did for me on a BA flight:

This was about 13 years ago, the last time I flew BA. I got up to use the ladies' room, leaving my sunglasses on my seat. The gentleman sitting next to me (in the window seat) must have gotten up right after I did, returned, and lost his balance or something. In any event, he sat on my sunglasses, breaking them.

He then went on to do the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me on a BA (or any) flight: when I returned, he apologized for the mishap, and insisted I pick out a new pair of sunglasses from the Duty Free. While I tried to talk him out of it, I sincerely appreciated it, as I suffer from migraines, and doing without sunglasses would have been a bit of a hardship.
