Riding a Coast Starlight train soon, but have been trying to figure out if outlets actually work on the upper deck coach seats of the train. Anyone know?


I rode it in spring 2010 from SJC->PDX and didn't have luck, and found myself going down to the 'arcade room' back then to charge my phone. I believe the outlets were there on the upper deck but weren't actually functional. I searched around and similarly saw some petitions from a few years ago asking for outlet upgrades, but couldn't find any official updates.
