I perceive that many people ask the same question (including myself, sometimes), so I go out of my way to be polite, humble and apologetic. I have been known to say something like, “I hope you don’t mind but may I please ask what type of Intermediate or Full Size car I might expect in September”? Have a pencil ready as they may rattle it off quite quickly.
