I have a booking in C and sure enough my meal selection appears as "vegetarian Hindu." This is horrifying for me as an avid non-vegetarian.

I don't remember if I touched my seat assignment after choosing the meal, although I don't actually think I did. Anyway, I experimented by changing my meal back to "no special meal," then changing my seat, hoping this would "reset" the system. Then I chose the meal again. Didn't work. It's back on "vegetarian Hindu" again.

I'm thinking of calling to resolve the problem, but their reps aren't exactly confidence-inspiring.

It seems sometimes you get the meal you ordered even with the "veg Hindu" selected. Is there any rhyme or reason to when you get what you ordered and when you don't?
