That doesn't sound right to me. An unattended POS device could be configured to prefer PIN first, just like an attended POS. So I don't see how they can definitively say that it will not work in *any* unmanned kiosks.
Is the PIN first vs. signature first policy something that is dictated by the company processing the transaction, or is it really something that can be configured on a per-merchant basis? (I doubt any actually bother to change the settings, just wondering if they are even allowed to).
