Tried to confirm a DSU at the HR San Francisco Embarcadero. Even though both the Embarcadero Suite and the Balcony Suite are showing as available on the website, apparently upgrade availability is not open. I'm new to Hyatt, so they explained to me that upgrade inventory is different from revenue inventory. Is this generally the case or is this a rare example? I usually search online to check for upgrade availability.
