It looks to me that the $75k spend for platinum will apply automatically if you made the spend last year. Anyone in that boat? Probably not, but I'm curious whether plat status through this card will get you United Silver or whether it's treated differently since it's not direct Marriott status but reciprocal marriott status extended to Ritz platinum.
