Not true. "House comp" rate deletes any record that breakfast was included in the rate. I've had the same challenge EVERYTIME i was awarded a brg with breakfast that was comped.
Yep. At an IC as well as an HI in New York, I was told they had nothing in their system that indicated that breakfast was included in my reservation, even though I definitely booked with the breakfast option and even had the confirmation email from the BRG team mentioning my "Best Available Rate with Breakfast"
