But this whole question is rather pointless because if it's not bookable on aa.com, the OP is simply out of luck.
Although HA had lowest tier award flights available, there were zero flights on AA.com. When I called AA, they only had first/business class available. The question is not pointless since there is a discrepancy within AA itself - the website vs phone - and also between HA award flight availability and AA award flight availability....
