They sent out the letters about account closure more than 10 days back.
We have been spending on the up until last weekend (when we got the letter) and all the transactions were approved. Online access is still working, even a statement closed this past weekend and I transferred points out.
It looks like they are giving some kind of grace period after the letter was sent. The letter states that the account has been closed as of the letter date.
Really weird.
