It generally works these days. There is a new system coming in to play in a few weeks time (which I think has an optional App component which allows you to login without the T&C screen), but I've had no recent problems, a lot of my FT posts come from HEX. Best to login in as soon as you get on: from T5 it can get slow logging in after the T1 spot, and in the other direction it is in the tunnel section that everyone switches over since I think it's only 2G underground.
