Used Global Entry at LAX last week. Very quick entry, and a special queue to get through customs as well. Not too well signposted due to lots of construction work going on. It takes longer to get back into my own country!
Haven't had a chance to use global entry since being approved but my last couple of trips to LAS there wasn't a separate customs line and there was a huge line. The GE kiosks by the side of the hall had a lane barrier at the front of the line, so no idea where you'd go with your ticket, except to sort of push the barrier to the side and push in front of everyone else in the US Resident line.
I wasn't shown how to use the kiosks or anything else at my interview, though I assume its pretty self explanatory, its just what you do then in those situations thats a little confusing to me
