Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Very much so.
Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked a duplex suite. Upgraded to duplex suite with Club Access.
How are the rooms?
Lovely, lots of hardwood. Balcony. Luxuriously appointed. Butler service. Awesome.
How is the exec. lounge?
"Club" is more than just a lounge here. It is an entirely separate part of the hotel. Separate swimming pool. A full dining area, as well as separate lounge area. Breakfast not only in the Club dining area, but also 4 other restaurants. Evening Drinks are not just in the Club dining area but also at the pool bar and the Sunset Lounge. Also includes free transfer from and to the airport (a Mercedes, normally $35).
Did you receive a welcome gift?
Yes. Some cashews, some hand-dipped chocolates. And I think something else I'm forgetting.
How was the minibar?
Average. Two Aussie wines, half bottles. Two Bintangs. One Heineken. Nothing spectacular.
What was good and what was bad?
-Good
Excellent service.
Extended my checkout to 6PM.
-Bad
Really, nothing.
Surprisingly, no ATM in the hotel but there's one on the street.
Value for $ or Priority Club Points?
Pricing is all over the map but the advance purchase rates and packages are much better value for money.
Would you return?
Every few years.
