I just got back from DXB this morning and took seat 62A. My surroundings looked like the pics below.

I don't think this is acceptable at all. It makes BA look bad; it makes it look like it has a lax approach to safety and maintenance.

Is this new BA's strategy to make people stop complaining about filthy planes? By having such shoddy maintenance that people forget about how clean the cabin is since they are too worried about the plane falling apart in the sky?

I didn't have any concerns around safety myself, but I think that seeing a cabin in this state might have an impact on some more sensitive passengers.

Shame on you BA.
