I've applied for 5 cards in my last AOR, including the AA Executive about four weeks ago. I am wondering if I should risk a second application now. Based on what I read here, there I high chances of approval. Are there any data points for Citi denying the card because of too many recent apps? Do I need to give them a reason for second card application when I call reconsideration?
If you read the thread, there are all kinds of data points about being denied for too many inquiries. The best decision would have been to get one of these cards and wait for the 2nd one to do your AOR. Not saying you're SOL, but it may be a tough sell.
