Although I agree not having the real thing is classless. Perhaps the dishwasher was broken that day or feel like doing dishes and the attendant didn't want to fess up.
I've said from the first post that I know in the scheme of things, this is minor. I've also said from the start that it was made clear to me at every turn that this was the policy for the CL, not a one-time event due to a broken dishwasher or other hiccup.
