Fancy wines are great but how about some decent (bottled ugh) ale? That's not to say that I don't find London Pride quite good...
On a recent trip to my local B&M there were numerous award winning ones from very small and interesting breweries for around £1.40 a bottle! Not a great expenditure to keep the Northern sorts happy. Coniston Bluebird would go down a treat. Maybe a different ale every month with some hazy-link to BA's regional services
