The BA lounge at Belfast City is being renovated. I flew BHD to LHR yesterday and the workmen are taking it to bits. I asked the BA guy outside door A if the FlyBE lounge was available. I was told it wasn't but he said the work would be finished by end January.

He then proceeded to give me a voucher to use at Lavazza or the main airport restaurant. It entitles you to choose three items as specified. There are restrictions on what you can get depending on the time of day.

I chose two small bottles of wine (drank one, took one home) and a toasted cheese and tomato sandwich which was not at all unpleasant...

Hopefully the new lounge will reflect more of the food and drink options available at LHR.
