BCAG Orders and Deliveries website, there have been 24 firm orders for 787s by BA. These include 8 787-8, and 16 787-9 aircraft. Of these, four of the 787-8 model aircraft have been delivered.
Boeing does not count options in their orders. Options can be sold as well as returned by the customer.
The BA order date was 24-Dec-2007.
That's what I thought, so the front page should probably be amended to reflect that.
