I was travelling from DEL to DSM via BritishAirways/AA on route DEL - LHR - ORD - DSM on 10/27. The flight from LHR to ORD was delayed by more than 4 hours due to some mechanical issue (Scheduled departure was 9:15 AM, Actual was 1:28 PM). Due to this i missed my connecting flight (ORD-DSM) and was put on last flight of the day.
Should i be getting compensation for this delay? If yes, who should i contact (BA or AA) as this was a code share flight?
Any help will be appreciated.
Complained to AA via email and received a $300 eVoucher as compensation.
