Lock problem

Another confirmation that the club is closed on the weekends. I was in town for a wedding and apparently it was a very popular weekend for weddings, as there was a 20-person line at check-in when I got to the hotel. I rushed over to the machines to check into my upgraded suite (using my Diamond upgrade certs) and was pleased to be moved into room 1142 into the Capitol Suite. It was a nice size living room (although it was dark with no windows), connected to the bedroom which had natural light from the windows. The closet was in the very big bathroom, which was a bit inconvenient.

My trouble with this stay begin as I left the room an hour after check-in, where I come to discover that there was a battery problem with the door. My card key would not work again throughout my stay and it required me to get a staff member to escort me to the room every time I had to enter the room. They were very gracious about this, however, it would have been nice if they had engineering staff fixing the lock, as I was told that this would happen each time someone escorted me to the room throughout my stay.

As the lounge was closed, I was offered breakfast at the restaurant, which was great. The staff there was super friendly and the food was delicious.

The hotel is conveniently located across the street from the Capitol. The staff was super friendly. All in all, other than the key problem, it was a good stay.
