I've seen far worse at suburban bars on an average Friday night, and in the place I'm thinking of, there's no local taxi service and the nearest bus stop is about a mile away. Everyone is driving. It's indeed a lot of booze, but if the passenger was behaving and wasn't driving, then it's nothing to be alarmed over, in my book.
