On the flip side, the country of Georgia doesn't seem to mind letting nationals of many countries in for 360 days in a calendar year.
My understanding is that 'visa on arrival' = 'visa required'. Also, exemptions like China's relatively new 72-hour visa-free stay for a number of cities are not counted.
