Well, by $100 you mean 100 points--so more like $1.75 as I value my points. I'm willing to sacrifice $1.75 to fly slightly further under the radar. I think there's something slightly less psychologically jarring to a cashier in a $908 charge than a $1008 charge. I don't want to raise eyebrows more than necessary since I've got a good thing going with this particular CVS. I don't have time to do VR's for MS, but they're invaluable to me for hitting spending requirements.
