Comfort Inn Cockatoo Near LAX Airport
To get the shuttle, I called when I landed and it arrived in 20 minutes. The hotel is about 20 minutes away from the airport.
The hotel itself looks like it used to be extended stay or possibly apartments. My room had a full-sized refrigerator and stove inside.
I can't comment on the neighborhood (looks like typical LA to me) but the building and grounds were only accessible by keycard so I felt safe.
The bed was comfortable as per usual Comfort Inn standards. Furniture and carpet a bit worn but not a problem, really.
Early shuttle (5:30 am) and 5 am wakeup call were no problem. I can't comment on breakfast, which started at 6:30.
I would definitely stay here again if transiting through LAX for some reason. A perfectly fine hotel.
