HU (Hainan Airlines) will launch ORD-PEK service in September. While they're not part of any Alliance, they're a Skytrax 5* carrier and have decent time slots into and out of PEK. And, they're launching with $2156/rt business class pricing.
Think UA will compete to show them a Chicago welcome?
