Mokulele Airlines Drops HNL/LNY Service But Gains LNY/JHM Service
It looks like effective August 1st they are once again discontinuing their Honolulu to Lanai route. This effectively leaves Island Air as the only carrier serving Lanai from Honolulu until Ohana by Hawaiian starts service later this year.
However Mokulele is going to begin service between Lanai and Kapalua, Maui. I think this route may do well since the only service between those two cities is via a long and some times treacherous (high seas) ferry ride.
