The fine print in the email states among other things:

"* This CitiŽ / AAdvantageŽ card offer is valid only for a new CitiŽ / AAdvantageŽ account applied for by August 31, 2013 pursuant to this offer is not available to existing cardmembers or recent applicants for a CitiŽ / AAdvantageŽ credit card."

AND:

"This email was sent to XYZZZZ @ XYZZZZmail.ZZZ because you subscribe to AAdvantageŽ promotions emails."

So it appears that it is targeted very widely and may be available to anyone as per first quote above.
So it appears that the 50K is back.
