I have not heard anything about orders being deferred. If I recall correctly, a new A320 just came in last month and another new A319 will be coming in a few weeks.

It also depends on what ZIP intends to do. I am quite sure there's a clause in the current contract staing that the aircrafts that ZIP operates cannot have a take off weight that exceeds 737-700.
