Well, since mainland-based accounts can't be refilled using foreign CCs, probably. Also, I notice that topping up my 3HK account with my American CC doesn't result in the $100 bonus that buying a top-up using my Chinese CC on Taobao does. Is this normal or is there something else I'm missing?
