No - it certainly does not qualify as a mileage run deal!
It disgusts me though to discover the lack of control United F/A's (are willing to exert!) have - even though I'm a 1K, I generally fly coach, since the CPU function rarely works for me.
Now I can look forward to sitting in coach - not only surrounded by United's scummy video programming (I turn off my screen, but I am still subjected to about 10 others!), but experiencing United own reality smut!
Maybe it's time to downgrade and fly a no-frills airline!
