My experience when flying AZ metal on a DL ticket is that when you go to DL.com to check in, even if the "Check-in" icon is ready and waiting for you to click it, it will then refer you to the AZ site.

If you've already checked in with AZ, you're fine. As always, ensure you got your miles for your AZ segments flown. It might take a few days, but save your BP.
